🎀 Pink October 🎀
Estée Lauder Pink Ribbon Photo Award – Finalist & Committed Photo Project
I’m so happy to share some wonderful news with you — my portrait of Véronique has been selected as a finalist for the Estée Lauder Pink Ribbon Photo Award ✨🎀
This contest is much more than a photography competition.
It’s a powerful initiative that sheds light on emotional life stories — on women and men who face breast cancer with incredible strength and dignity.
Photographing Intimacy: A Challenge and a Responsibility
Creating such intimate portraits is never easy.
It’s a delicate exercise that requires listening, empathy, and deep respect.
Every gesture matters. Every word carries weight.
The ESTIM training, guided by Priscilla Gissot and Clélia Guilbot, helped me a lot in approaching these very special sessions.
It allowed me to refine my approach, find the right posture, and offer, above all, a safe and gentle space for each person I photograph.
These sessions are not just about taking pictures.
They are about reconnection — to oneself, to one’s body, image, and story.
The ESTIM experience is above all an inner transformation,
a unique moment to regain self-esteem, to make peace with one’s reflection, and to feel beautiful and alive again.
👉 A new article about this will be coming soon!
I’m proud to be among the 40 finalists of the Estée Lauder Pink Ribbon Award.
To continue raising awareness about breast cancer through my work, I need your support, every vote counts!

Every year, I offer a photo session to a woman affected by breast cancer.
A moment just for her.
A breath of fresh air amid the whirlwind of treatments, fatigue, and fear.
In front of the camera, it’s not about posing.
It’s about allowing oneself to simply be present, just as she is —
with or without hair, with visible or invisible scars.
These portraits are a way to see oneself differently,
to bring back softness where there has been so much pain,
to feel beautiful again — despite everything.
It’s also a path toward regaining confidence,
and keeping a trace of that incredible strength that lives within them, day after day.
This photograph wouldn’t exist without Véronique, who trusted me with her story, her image, and her intimacy.
After the session, she wrote me these heartfelt words:
“This photo session gave me back my dignity at a time when my femininity was deeply affected.
Isa, through her patience, humor, and kindness, transformed me by bringing beauty into the darkness of my days.”
Beyond the Scarstitre

A Bond of Support and Hope
My heartfelt thanks also go to the other women who have shared their stories with me.
Sophie, Isabelle, Sandrine, and all the others, true warriors in this journey.
Your courage, dignity, and light inspire me every single day.
A special thought goes to those who are sadly no longer with us… 💕
Their memory continues to guide us, reminding us of the importance of this path —
a path of awareness, empathy, and solidarity.
This project is more than photography — it’s about women empowerment,
about reclaiming self-image and celebrating resilience through art.
